Extreme DUIs

If you've been arrested for a DUI, your blood alcohol concentration determines, in large part, what your DUI charge will be.

You will be charged with an Extreme DUI if your blood alcohol concentration (BAC) exceeds .15% and less than .20%

If your BAC is .20% or higher, you'll be charged with a Super Extreme DUI.

Blood alcohol concentration in the .08% to .15% range is a normal First Offense DUI or DUI Second Offense charge.

Extreme DUI Penalties mean mandatory jail time

Penalties for First Offense Extreme DUI are severe, but the second offense Extreme DUI penalties are more severe - both are listed below. Third offense DUI in a seven-year period is an Aggravated DUI and is a Class 4 Felony.
